The Colombian Association of Carbon Market Actors – ASOCARBONO is the organizer of the 5th Colombia – Latin America Climate Summit “The voice of communities in carbon markets”.

This event will take place on September 27th and 28th, 2023, at the Valle del Pacífico Events Center in the city of Cali, Colombia, and will count with the participation of important national and international speakers and public and private sector actors related to carbon markets in Colombia and Latin America.

Target

The Climate Summit seeks to analyze and evaluate the state of progress of carbon markets in Colombia and internationally, convening stakeholders and allies to explore business opportunities in the short, medium and long term; it will also focus its discussions on solutions based on nature, with communities as protagonists; technology-based solutions through industry, alternative energy generation and new technologies; on the International Voluntary Market and Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, as well as with the National Government on regulations and future prospects in Colombia.
