Afiliation steps
Colombian Association of Carbon Market members
- Those interested in becoming an Asocarbono affiliate must submit the membership application form, in which they must explain their interest in the carbon market and the reason why they want to be part of the association.
- In the following 10 working days, a query is made to the members about possible objections, to the application under study.
- Subsequently, the Board of Directors will evaluate the request within the following 10 business days, in terms of considering its interest in the carbon market and the role it plays and the objections presented by the associates.
- Once the application has been considered and if it is approved, the annual membership fee is paid, which will cover the calendar year after the date of acceptance of the application.

To have in mind
A Carbon Market Actor shall be understood as that person, natural or legal, with the condition of being interested in participating in any of its activities, such as: projects that generate carbon certificates, linked communities, projects with an interest in generating certificates, project developers, buyers of certificates, investors, industries, brokers, consultants with specific experience, environmental NGOs with a well-known track record in the world of carbon, national or international, public and private research institutes and financial entities with an interest in the market.
Those prospective associates who are immersed in money laundering problems, reports on international lists of money laundering or complaints for economic or property crimes, will not be able to be part of the Association.
